—
we searched a long time for our vines…. in the Loire, in the Minervois, and then finally in the region of Bordeaux. It was at this point that everything became clear, like a lightning flash. Bordeaux, of course… its prestigious name, its rich history, its culture ! that said it all.
Our viticultural exploits began when we bought our first property, Chateau St Julian in the Entre-Deux-Mers. Shortly afterwards another opportunity presented itself in Saint Emilion: Château La Grangère.

We product Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Bordeaux Supérieur and organic wines : “Don’t Panic It’s Organic”.
Don’t Panic It’s Organic has been created and imagined for all those who think (wrongly) that Bordeaux is overpriced (?!), for the olds and has been (let’s see !) and incomprehensible (blends). This range has been declined in identity grape varieties, supplemented by a « without added sulfur » and a « generic or no name » wine. All of them are organics (of course) and shows audacity, know-how and passion.
The choice of organic viticulture was for us, above all else, the culmination of years of thought, observation and questioning.
Even though administered with moderation, chemical treatments had slowly and surreptitiously worked their way into our daily practices. By compromise and concession, we were putting everything that we held most dear in danger: our health, and the quality of our wines through the progressive impoverishment of the soils and therefore the terroir. Little by little we were losing our identity.
We became convinced : it is our duty to hand over the Earth to future generations for the years to come. Life is precious and must be preserved. We believe that the future depends on re-establishing the natural balance and harmony between man and Mother Nature, which is why we have re-integrated this concept into our working philosophy.
