Au Château Ferrand, trois générations travaillent ensemble, alliant tradition et modernité, afin d’assurer la pérennité de l’histoire de la famille Gasparoux à Pomerol pour les années à venir.
Cette aventure familiale n’aurait aucun avenir sans les femmes et les hommes qui œuvrent chaque jour avec engagement au succès du domaine.
La famille est fière de vous présenter son équipe : Bérengère Cariteau, responsable de l’administration et de l’œnotourisme ; Mathieu Garcia, responsable de la viticulture ; Denis Gombeau, responsable du chai ; Jérémie Rainaud, ouvrier viticole ; et Natasha Miret, assistante commerciale et administrative.

Les vignerons et producteurs sont généralement de véritables amoureux de la terre et s’attachent aujourd’hui à intégrer des pratiques environnementales responsables dans la gestion de leurs exploitations.
Le Château Ferrand ne fait pas exception. Depuis 2019, le domaine est certifié HEV3 et ISO 14001 dans le cadre des PME viticoles de Bordeaux (système de management environnemental). Après trois années de conversion, le Château a également obtenu sa certification biologique en 2024.
Ces certifications sont un gage de qualité et rassurent les clients quant à l’engagement quotidien du domaine en faveur du respect de la biodiversité environnante, ainsi que de la réduction autant que possible de l’impact de son activité sur l’environnement, notamment par la diminution de l’utilisation de produits chimiques et neurotoxiques.
Par ailleurs, l’appellation d’origine contrôlée (AOC) a renforcé ses engagements environnementaux dans son cahier des charges mis à jour en 2021, interdisant le désherbage chimique.
Cette approche, véritable tournant dans la gestion du vignoble, est pleinement partagée par l’ensemble des collaborateurs, tous engagés avec conviction dans cette démarche.

Wine growers and producers are generally true earth-lovers and these days they work hard to integrate good environmental practices into their estate management.

Château Ferrand is no exception; since 2019 the estate has had the HEV3 certification and ISO 14001 within the Bordeaux wine SME (Environmental Management System). After three years of conversion, the estate was certified organic in 2024.
These certificates guarantee quality, reassuring customers of the estate’s daily commitment to respect neighbouring plants and animals and to try as much as possible to reduce the negative impact that its activity has on the environment, particularly by reducing chemical and neurotoxic products. Equally, the controlled appellation of origin (AOC) certification demonstrated its environmental commitments in its 2021 updated specification, which forbade chemical weeding.
This approach, a turning point in managing the vineyard, has been taken to heart by every employee at the company, all of whom are fully committed to taking action.
